However, when you think about it, there is no reason your CoachingWebsites website shouldn’t pay for itself in terms of bringing new clients to your practice.

Your CoachingWebsites service includes web hosting, email service, domain maintenance, search engine optimization, and unlimited technical support, and so much more. We provide all these goodies specifically so you can create and maintain a site that will attract new clients.

A solid web presence is increasingly important to lend your practice an air of credibility and professionalism. In developing an effective web presence that attracts new clients, there are two main considerations:

1. The Machine Side – The search engine rankings of your site (we’ll have more in this in our upcoming posts).

2. The Human Side – The design and content of your site. This is what we’ll be talking about today.

We could spend pages and pages talking about how to optimize your site so that it will be maximally visible to search and crawlers that index all the content on the web (and we will!) but it’s important not to forget the Human Side of your website.

Design and content relates to the aesthetic appeal and organization of your site, as well as content with accurate contact information and a distinctive description of your practice and the services you offer. It’s also about what real, potential clients will see once your search engine ranking and directory listings have lead them to your site. The Human Side of the site is all about “conversions” – bringing people in once they’ve found you!

You have to ask yourself – “Once my ideal client has found my website, how will I speak to them?”

You need to reach out! You need to show them who you are and invite them to contact you. Be warm. Be welcoming. Be informal. Put up a picture of yourself. Put up some genuine advice that they can take to heart, whether or not they ultimately choose you as their life coach. Show them that you’re an expert, and that you care.

Give away some free advice. Give your potential clients something to engage with. Something where they will say, “Yes- this is what I needed! This is who I need to talk to!”

The fun thing about CoachingWebsites is that it is so easy.

It’s easy to exercise your creativity in the design of your site to attract clients to your practice.

It’s easy to upload a portrait photo of yourself.

It’s easy to play around with colors and designs on all of our different templates.

It’s easy to add a new page with your own, heartfelt advice for your potential clients. Once you’ve given something of yourself to them, they’ll trust you, and come to you for more!

And, as John mentioned in our last post, a blog can be a great way to promote your practice – to give a way a little bit of your expert knowledge to draw in new clients.

You can even sell books and CDs that you recommend on your CoachingWebsites website, showcasing your resources while generating additional passive revenue through Amazon’s Affiliate Program.

All of these things work together to give potential clients a taste of your expertise, to promote your site in search engines, and to build your presence online.

For those reading this post that don’t yet have a website, the reality is simple: your practice needs to have a web presence. A website really is the business card of the 21st century. Since you have to have one, why not go with a service that handles everything for you while allowing you to get creative on your own? Other services may be cheaper, but as they say, you get what you pay for, but at CoachingWebsites, we work specifically with mental health professionals we work with you to optimize your site to bring in those new clients.

Just think, with the combination of our comprehensive optimization services, the knowledge and expertise that you share with your potential clients, and a little patience there is no way your CoachingWebsites service won’t pay for itself. Even if it brings in one new regular client, it’s a done deal.

Thomasin H – CoachingWebsites Support
Email any questions to Support@CoachingWebsites.com

For some, ponying up a monthly fee for a CoachingWebsites account can seem like a leap.
