Designing Your First Website: 3 Must-Haves
When designing your business’s website, there are a number of things to bear in mind when it comes to attracting clients, maximizing your SEO ranking, and giving your office a strong online presence.
Client education should be one of the prime focuses of your website. It does three things. First, it provides fresh content for your website, which optimizes your SEO ranking and also prevents your site from looking stale. Second, client education alerts searchers to the various services you provide. Finally, it makes your clients a partner in their health care. By informing them of ways they can improve their well-being, you’re making them an active participant in their quest for a healthier lifestyle.
Responsive mobile design is increasingly important as more and more clients rely on smartphones for internet access. This style of coding is now preferred by Google, as well as most users. Rather than redirecting users to a secondary mobile site, responsive design allows a website to automatically adjust according to a device’s screen size (large or small) and orientation (landscape or portrait). Responsive design also lets you keep your own domain – nothing changes except code on the back-end.
When designing your website, you should always bear in mind how you can make things easier for your clients. Online billing is a great way to make payments more convenient. A true win-win situation is providing clients with the opportunity to fill out paperwork online before visiting your office. That cuts down on their wait time and gives your staff a head start on processing new clients before they’ve set foot in the office.
